GAYLE NOVAK, Ms. Senior America 2018

CONGRATULATIONS to GAYLE NOVAK, Ms. Senior America 2018! A special thanks to our committed and dedicated State Administrator Rene Green, for her help, guidance and encouragement!

Gayle was adopted at birth, raised on a small farm, attended high school and college in Colorado. She is married to her best friend- Ed, and they have 6 children and 13 grandchildren.

As a worker bee all her life, Gayle has seen both sides of the fence. She was an employee at the Aurora Summit Steakhouse and later, in a primarily male occupation, she became the owner. As a restaurateur most of her life, she has found working as a team has better results. The dishwasher is just as important as the manager or chef. She is a member of the Colorado and National Restaurant Association and Gayle is currently a working partner at Zane’s Italian Bistro, along with her husband and son Zane. It is truly a family endeavor.

Gayle Novak has a true love for humanity and culture. She has raised millions of dollars for local charities. She has chaired “Saturday Night Alive” for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and won their prestigious the volunteer of the year award. She is also involved with the “Western Fantasy” Gala for Volunteers of America for which she raised $1 million in 2010. Gayle has chaired events for Cancer League of Colorado, the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and many more. Her philanthropic heart has allowed her to work with performing artists such as Frankie Valli, Wynonna Judd, Donny Osmond, and Tom Jones. Gayle loves to give back to the community and this uplifts her soul!

As you can see, Gayle loves the theater and now she has a new love again and that is performing – singing and dancing. She is enjoying performing with the Colorado Cameo Club at the various events.

To Gayle life after 60 is a fresh canvas. It’s been a time of reinvention, with new roles and responsibilities. Engaging in activities that have allowed her to make new friends with like-minded people. To Gayle life has been fulfilling, rewarding and, quite frankly . . . a BLAST!
