I  enjoy every aspect of life, but if dancing is in the picture, that’s my real incentive to be a part of the activity. Traveling is always an exciting adventure and a great learning experience for me. My family and friends are important, and I love to be with them as much as possible. I believe that "life may not be the party we hoped for; but while we are here, we should dance."

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS: President (10 yrs.) of seniors adult group, LLL (Live Longer if Lucky), at North Greenwood Baptist Church; Secretary and Public Relations Director (4 yrs) for Town and Country Garden Club; Public Relations Director for One or None Club (Breast cancer support group); 18 year breast cancer survivor; Merry Widows Club; Bridge Club; Mississippi Country Western Dance Association; Greenwood Little Theater (Choreographer; ) Young at Heart Dance Club; Member of North Greenwood Baptist Church.

VOLUNTEER WORK: Relay for Life; Choreographer for Greenwood Little Theater (Smokey Joe’s Café, Guys and Dolls, Music Man, Gypsy, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas); Volunteer for four years at the Museum of the Mississippi Delta.

SPECIAL INTERESTS: Dance: Director of the Delta Rockers (performing dance troupe of women 60-80). Performances have been from Memphis, TN to Jackson, MS and on the Carnival Elation cruise ship. Four years ago I formed a team called, "Betty Aden Summer Dance Camp." This will be my 31st year to host a summer dance camp for children ages 3- 18.

Travel: Cruises (River Cruise from Paris to Normandy; River Cruise down the Rhine and Danube; Mediterranean Cruise; Cruise from New York City to Nova Scotia; Alaskan Cruise; Caribbean Cruise); France, Italy, England, Switzerland, Holland, Germany (Oberammergau 10 year Passion Play), Spain, Canada; United States of America (New York City, Savannah, Charleston, St. Louis, the National Parks, New Orleans).
