MS IDAHO SENIOR AMERICA 2015,
DEBBIE BERGENDORF

Ms. Idaho, Debbie Bergendorf CONGRATULATIONS to DEBBIE BERGENDORF, Ms Idaho Senior America 2015!

Debbie was born an Army brat in Ft Meade, Maryland, and raised in Idaho. She loved playing dress-up and would gather the neighborhood kids and organize parades down the street. In high school she made her Prom dresses and most of her clothes. She started modeling at 14 and a Fashionista was born. In high school she was a member of Future Business Leaders of America, Drama Club, and Pep Club.

She studied Fashion Design at Kinman University in Spokane, Washington. She has always been involved in her community. She was on the PTA board at her children's school, a 4-H leader teaching young girls to sew, a girls basketball coach, a member of Civitans, and a member of Leadership Pocatello. She was a Facilitator for the Leadership Pocatello program and as a Leadership Pocatello Alumni Diplomat she chaired a project to create a small park along the greenway.

She worked as a loan officer in a bank for many years and in the Finance department of the City of Pocatello. Her love of fashion has continued over the years and she signed a contract with a modeling agency. She has been in television commercials, print and runway modeling. She is still asked to model today.

She teaches a fashion design class at the local university, teaches modeling classes, writes a fashion column for the Idaho Business Journal and does a fashion segment on the local news program.

She is a member of Zonta International, and chairs the annual Spring fundraiser fashion show which raises money for scholarships. She was nominated for Zontian of the year. She auditioned for Project Runway and got to meet Tim Gunn. She designs a clothing line of contemporary fashions for the modern woman under the label Deborah Beaumont.

Debbie and her husband have 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
